This phase was carried out by Lagemaat, in close collaboration with the project team and under the guidance of SGI Compliance as asbestos consultant.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"658\" class=\"\">During the removal process, various asbestos-containing materials were safely and compliantly removed according to applicable regulations. These included the following asbestos-containing applications:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"870\">\n<li data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"692\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"692\" class=\"\">13,521 meters of lost formwork<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"719\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"719\" class=\"\">26,633 meters of sealant<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"730\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"730\" class=\"\">50 doors<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"743\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"743\" class=\"\">70 gaskets<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"771\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"771\" class=\"\">1,600 m\u00b2 of wall cladding<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"826\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"826\" class=\"\">8,938 meters of anti-drumming material in the facade<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"826\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"826\" class=\"\">11,527 m\u00b2 of asbestos-containing adhesive<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"929\" class=\"\">Additionally, as much as 42,000 m\u00b2 of screed was removed. In total, 303 tons of asbestos-containing material were removed. Other materials that were released during this phase were also carefully disposed of, yielding impressive results:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1202\">\n<li data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1132\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1132\" class=\"\">139 tons of metals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1179\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1179\" class=\"\">67 tons of construction and demolition waste<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1202\" class=\"\">\n<p data-start=\"1182\" data-end=\"1202\" class=\"\">5,559 tons of rubble<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1335\" class=\"\">A remarkable outcome: excluding the asbestos-containing material, an impressive <strong data-start=\"1284\" data-end=\"1294\">99.42%<\/strong> of the released materials were recycled.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1576\" class=\"\">This remediation marks an important step in preparing for the next phases of the redevelopment.
